Introduction of Expanded perlite
Expanded perlite is a kind of white granular material with honeycomb structure inside, which is made by preheating perlite ore and then roasting and expanding at instantaneous high temperature. The working principle of Expanded perlite is: perlite ore is crushed to form ore sand of a certain size, after preheating roasting, rapid heating (above 1000 ℃), the water in the ore evaporates and expands inside the softened vitreous ore to form a porous structure and volume expansion 10-30 times the non-metallic mineral products. Perlite is divided into three forms according to its expansion technology and use: open cell, closed cell, and balloon.
Application of Expanded perlite
Expanded perlite is an inorganic mineral material with a very wide range of uses. Expanded perlite is fire-prevention, thermal insulation, sound-absorbing and sound insulation, light-weight and high-strength properties involve almost all fields. E.g:

2.It is used for the filtration of alcohol, oil, medicine, food, sewage and other products.
3.Used in rubber, paint, coatings, plastics, and other fillers and expanders.
4.Used for steelmaking and slag removal, molten steel insulation and covering. High-quality filler for automobile brake pads.
5.Used to absorb floating oil, oilfield cementing lightening agent, and low-density cement slurry.
6.Used in agriculture, horticulture, soil improvement, water and fertilizer preservation.
7.Used to cooperate with various adhesives to make profiles of various specifications and performances.
8.It is used for fire insulation, sound absorption and sound insulation of industrial kilns and buildings.

Size: 0-0.5mm, 0.5-1mm, 1-2mm, 2-4mm, 4-8mm, 8-30mm.
Loose density: 40-100kg/m3, 100-200 kg/m3, 200-300 kg/m3.
